Fast forward a few months later and I find myself here again for post-Black Friday deals, willing to give 'em a 2nd shot. So as I walk in (no greeting) there's an associate just staring aloofly off into the distance. Whatever, I'm browsing around the store for 10 min or so & no employee ever bothers to ask if I needed help, etc (which I was trying to track down an item that they'd advertised but were apparently out of stock). So I finally check out & exit though the sliding doors without a greeting this time either. SMH
Very friendly and helpful staff. I didn't stand idle for long till a staff member greeted me and offered assistance. I was in and out in 20 minutes. Also, their reward program is very beneficial if your a regular costumer.
Frist off it is best buy so you have best buy prices about double compared to buying online. Second the customer services sucks they dont know anything about any item aside from the top of the line items. Went in and asked about a 50 inch tv and had to listen to guy for 10min about newest tv and sound bar before he read me the description below the tv i was there for. Finally when you check out they have 5 registers, 4 people standing at front door talking 1 person running register and 6+ people waiting in line. Done with rant.
The friendly greeter did her job. The remaining store staff simply ignored me during my ~10 min meandering around the store while they chatted amongst themselves. A couple of associates even made eye contact w/ me, though they continued on their leisurely stroll. I've patronized this establishment for over a decade & this was easily the worst customer experience I've had at any Best Buy store.
I rushed in after an 11 hour work day to pay my bill at the counter. Staff member was friendly and helpful, though there was a delay while 3 staff discussed something. Would have been nice to be acknowledged with a "We'll be right with you, Ma'am!" and a smile.
I'm not sure what was going on, but I went in to buy my daughter a tablet. From the moment I picked up the tablet, I had employees all around me constantly asking if I needed help, to standing near me idle for no apparent reason. After the second person asked if I needed help, I went to look for another item, with the tablet I was buying in my hand. While checking out another item on my phone to see if it was what I was looking for, I noticed yet more employees standing nearby, pretending to be busy, all the while looking at me. Needles to say, I immediately went to the counter, bought the tablet, and left. The employees are highly unprofessional, and seem to think anyone not white is a thief.
