UPDATE : 9-3-17 (over a month since the night of the emergency) I received what looks to be a generic apology email from Corporate stating that they would contact me within 72 hours.
Just renovated and it was still scummy. The tile in my bathroom had separated from the floor and blocked the door. Breakfast was a surprise, fairly descent.
I couldn't tell you how the room was. We had car trouble and never made it to the motel. During our trip we talked to several other motel managers about this situation, including ones with the Comfort / Choice /Clarion Group. They suggested that with documented emergencies, a refund or credit should be available. I have contacted Comfort Corporate Guest Services and still haven't gotten a response. It has been three weeks since our trip and nothing.
9-11-17 : I still haven't received anything from them via phone, text, or email. So far that is 7.2 days not 72 hours and still nothing.
DO NOT GO HERE! PLAS IS FILTHY!
Ironically, they haven't contacted me back about the incident, but they sure want my money again. I have received at least 8 more advertising emails for rooms and their VIP program, in just 3 weeks. Man, that email trash bin is sure filling fast!!!!!!
Place was a dump and staff was incapable of handling anything. Maxed out my credit card with 3 charges totaling almost $300 for an 8 hour stay and took 3 days to fix their error. 1st room they put us in bed had no sheets or pillows on bed they were piled up in the corner. 4am somebody walking halls playing loud music. Will never go back that's for sure!
I guess that Comfort Hotels would rather make a profit on one night of hard times than be compassionate and lose my business for a whole lot more.
Floor in bathroom covered in hair, floor not vacuumed, windows not cleaned(not a single one... not even the lobby), nothing dusted, parked next to a spot where they seal coated the parking lot around a dumpster and the area had as followed[ 7 screws, 2 rusty razor blades, 4 pieces of glass and some staples]
AWFUL I CAUGHT THE DESK CLERK WITH A WHITE SUBSTANCE ON HIS NOSE DECEMBER 1RST 2017, HE WAS BLOWED
This is a handicapped accessible room. Laundry room is filthy with stains all over and garbage on the floor. This is the first time they have been open after remodeling. A bucket of paint is out back and a bucket of mud for drywall is holding a door open. If I could give it a lower rating.... I would. Will be contacting corporate and providing pictures and video.
