Highly recommended! Clean, quiet rooms. Very helpful staff! Great breakfast WAY past the usual Danish - full setup with waffle station, biscuits and gravy, cereal, yogurt, juices, milk. The staff even nicely corralled one of my toddlers when she got away from me... Quick and easy for AMA, Ball State, or other Muncie events!
Very large and clean rooms. The best price in the immediate area I've found. If you are a Wyndam rewards member I recommend booking through their website. There are plenty of rooms and it seems to always be quiet. Free breakfast is decent and indoor swimming pool if you're into that kind of thing.
The motel is still undergoing some renovations which seems to be going well. Our rooms were as expected and the tub, toilet and sink and flooring looked very new. Staff was very helpful at check in and later. Good value.
Room itself was clean enough, fridge was good enough and size was large enough... BUT, the our overall experience and customer care was TERRIBLE. We've been staying at this hotel for several years, every time we visit our Muncie family members. It has gone WAY downhill. The Breakfast Nook was dirty, always out of almost everything and no one seemed to be in charge of it or caring about it, even when it was brought to their attention. Yogurt was also expired. We stayed for three nights and our Internet NEVER worked. We were told "it's being persisted"(whatever that means), "we will tell you when it works", and "it's being reset"- NONE OF those things happened. We asked for toilet paper at front desk one night and were told "I'll bring it to room", which never happened. The pool wasnt very clean or warm and we had to hunt down staff to ask for towels... to top it all off, on our last morning, we went to swim, but the door was locked, so my husband went to ask staff to please open it. The man(sitting on couch in lobby) ARGUED that it was open until my husband got frustrated and mad, and gave up. I then walked to the front with our toddler to tell him it was indeed locked, so he finally got up, grabbed the keys and walked to pool to unlock it NOT SAYING A WORD. Our whole stay, we felt like an inconvenience to staff, which is not a good feeling. Needless to say, we will never stay there again, which makes me sad because Baymont is my go to for all travels. Time to find a new place!
If you don't expect much, you won't be disappointed. Bed and bathroom were clean. Those are the most important parts! Wonderful for the price. I only paid $56 a night. Front desk clerk isn't friendly or personable, but oh well. Pets are NOT welcome, no matter what the internet tells you. The thing that made my stay questionable is that my room didn't have a smoke detector or sprinklers!
