They didn't even have the decency to cover the window up. A customer's car is damaged on YOUR property and you don't do anything about it? The only reason it's covered up is because my dad happened to drive by after work one day and saw they hadn't done it.
Fast forward to today, June 28th, exactly 3 weeks later. We hadn't heard from them in a week, so my dad calls to see what progress has been made. He is told by the owner that the manager doesn't work there any more and that if we don't pick my car up today, he's going to have it towed. My dad asked about the window. The owner claims that we brought it in that way. (Now, if you take a look at the photo, you can see the glass on the ground, showing that it was broken on their property.)
I found Muncie Muffler Brake and Auto simply by doing a search on Google and was impressed by the reviews. I wanted to avoid a National chain, who would likely over charge and delay my service. I Called right at 8 am opening and was told I could get my brake lines fixed that day, so within the hour, I had my car towed in, and soon after received a call from James, who was very friendly and professional, and I gave the go ahead for the work. All 3 brake lines were replaced by around noon! I was very pleased with the price as well as how quickly the well done work was completed. I highly recommend this shop.
busting my window and severely denting my door - and drove off. We're told by the manager/our mechanic that they'll find a new door since it happened on their property.
I've referred so many good friends and coworkers to this place, and I regret it. The only reason they have one star is because google won't let me give them zero. Please, don't waste your time and money at this place.
I am working on a budget. Muncie Muffler had my exhaust from 'I heard you at the end of the street' to 'is this truck running' in 45 minutes at 1/10 the price of the first shop I stopped at. Great guys, support you local business. I do not typically do reviews, but I had great service and think this shop deserves the effort.
Have done business there before ..no problems.. Took my daughters car there 3 weeks ago to look at why the dash warning lights and shifter indicator were always flashing.. call to talk to the manager to see if he had a chance to look at the car and he asked me what happened to the glass in the door. told him there is nothing wrong with door glass. Got off the phone and drove straight there.. Her car door had been hit in the parking lot while waiting to be worked on. door caved in and glass broken was all over the ground, on the top and on the windshield clearly was damaged there. manager said he would find a door and replace. week went by I called said still looking for a door. called today 06.28.2017 Manager no longer there and the owner Gary Campbell accused me of trying to screw him out of money and then had an employee call me to tell me if car wasn't removed from his parking lot he was gonna have it towed. So I went and got the car with the same problem I took it there to have repaired and now she still cant drive it because of the damaged that happened in there possession. had a police report filed and more pictures taken and will be taking this place to court after I get estimates.. they obviously don't respect other peoples property while in their possession they didn't even bother covering her car up with plastic I had to do that to.....Michael Smart
These guys are good and honest. I have had exhaust and brake work done and both were done quickly and at a reasonable price.
I took my car to Muncie Muffler on the afternoon of June 7th to get some work done. The same place I have dropped it off for the past 2-3 years. Two days later, my dad calls to check up on my car for me, and they tell him that my passenger's side window has been busted out. So, my dad drives over and finds out that someone had actually backed into my car -
Not only is the owner (Gary Campbell) lying about my window being busted on their property, but the issue I originally brought my car in for, wasn't even addressed. Until I picked my car up today, it hadn't even been touched for the 3 weeks that it was there. Now it's sitting in my parents' driveway while we struggle to find a new door and a reliable mechanic.
