We love our vet! They take good care of our puppy and two cats. We unfortunately have had to take our cats there frequently; when we adopted our second cat, he came to us from the shelter with contagious eye disease, ringworm, fleas, and much more. It's been a battle to keep them healthy since. Maplewood has only misdiagnosed once, and they made it right by charging no cost for the exam, and giving us free flea medication. Keep in mind that it is difficult to correctly diagnose animals when they cannot speak! They have also squeezed in one of our cats when she was acting odd; it turns out she was sick with a high fever, and we were lucky to get her in so soon. They have always went above and beyond for us. The staff is also so excellent, kind, and genuinely caring. They're always excited to see our pets, and if we only bring one in, are asking how the others are doing. One of our cats is less than happy to visit the vet, and they try their best to calm her down.
The doctor is nice but so expensive. I came in asking for him to just look at spot where a tick was on my dog and got charged a $45 exam fee that took 5 minutes of his time. And when I called to ask for explanation they told me it's because he checked his eyes and body when I never asked him to do that. It's ridiculous.
