A great place to eat, I always recommend it when I'm in town.
The only issues I've ever had with McAlister's is their menu. The first time I walked into that restaurant I was incredibly overwhelmed by the flashing ever-changing menu. I might have accidentally "yelled" in a waitress over it in fact. It was just... Too much. I'm happy to say that they've changed the format of it though. It's now cleaner and easier to read, and you don't have pictures flashing in and out making it impossible for you to make a selection.
I love their club. If you haven't been here and like deli food, it's delicious. Their cookies are good as well.
The food is standard McAlister's, but it's a chain restaurant so you'd expect that. I love the food though I can't lie. The t-bar is amazing, and the restaurant dining room is really good too.
My entire meal was cold when it should have been warm. The dinning room Attendant was pleasant but annoying, we did not need to be checked on every two minutes. Lastly, we asked if we could exchange a portion of our children's meal for something else due to allergies and they would not accommodate.
Food is fresh and good, and the staff is upbeat. The manager clearly cares about the customers and the employees, personally checking every table and offering help to employees. My fiance and I joked that we both wish we could work there because it's such an awesome atmosphere!
The manager is one of the most attentive store managers I've ever encountered in a restaurant. He's very friendly, and genuine, and he takes care of his customers. Every time I go in there and have any interactions with him I walk away feeling very pleased with how I was treated.
One of my favorite sandwich, soup, salad, places to eat. Today I had roast beef cheddar sandwich with horseradish, potato salad. All very good.
I've been to several McAlister's all across the general area. And I really believe that the Muncie one is the best.
