Free popcorn at the door. Friendly staff. Nice selection of kitchen gadgets and utensils. Some grocery items, lots of animal & farm supplies. Some old-fashioned candies, greeting cards, and some hard-to-find items. Clean restrooms. They have work clothes and footwear, too. We like shopping here. They also have toys.
I really like the Rural King, and shop there fairly often. It has a crazy mix of products that really need to be experienced, and good prices, plus free popcorn. The only reason I took off a star is because everything seems to get weirdly dusty. By all means go and check it out though.
The associate that checked me out was very friendly. Even thou they were so busy today, everyone was still in good moods. It was a very pleasant shopping experience.
I just called there and the attendant in toys could not have been nicer! She checked on an item even though it is one of the busiest days of the year. Target told me "Honey, it's the middle of black Friday, I am not checking on anything. If you want to know you will have to come in". It's s understandable but still it's great that Rural King has employees who are kind enough to go out of their way even on the one or two days when no will blame them if they don't.
Love Rural King! People might think it's just a farm store but they have so much more! I bought several of my Christmas exchange gifts there along with some kitchen gadgets for me, a pound of pecan pieces for baking, 4 of those projector things that has 4 different holidays to display against the house (one for each of my kid's families) AND a partridge in a pear tree! Okay, maybe not a partridge but everything else, I swear! lol
