First, all of Hertz cars are to be non-smoking vehicles. It was obvious to me prior to even getting in the vehicle that someone had been smoking in it. There were ashes dried all over the outside of the car. Once I opened the door, the vehicle reeked of smoke. I said to the rep with me, that someone had been smoking in the vehicle. He claimed that he was unable to smell it. We needed a five passenger vehicle that could also accommodate two car seats. We received a Jeep Compass. The rep stated this was the largest car he had available for me. This definitely cannot seat a third person in the back between the car seats. The first morning I had the rental car, it would not start. This happened several times, I believe due it needing a new starter. Save yourself the headache and choose another location.
A franchise of the place that I work,cant say anything bad about it LOL , so I guess that is ok.
Took over 30 minutes to actually be given our car that we pre scheduled for pick up. Had us wait outside in the blazing sun for that 30 minutes while he swept out the car. That should have been done. The Windows of the car in the back were filthy, like a child had wiped food all over them. An engine light came on after 5 minutes down the road. The counter guy was rude and acted like we were interrupting something important by picking up the car we paid for. Not to mention after returning the car, he didn't close it out and kept charging my mothers credit card for days, even though the car had been re-rented out. AVOID THIS LOCATION
Wow. Guy in the cubicle was rude and not helpful at all. I told him I needed a bigger vehicle and he said he only had one vehicle available and it was a chevy sonic. Tiny. He didn't offer to look for anything else or see what he could do for me. We saw at least 5 other rentals next to it. Maybe they weren't ready but I'm not sure. Also, he was snap-chatting and had his cigarettes on the desk. Kind of unprofessional. We decided to go somewhere else.
