They refused entry into the museum because my 19 year daughter didn't have a kid with her. I called them and asked them why they denied her entry and they said "because she did not have a child with her to go in." The lady said "They had problems with people before so they won't let any one in without a child now." I said that is isn't on a website and she said that she would email somebody about the situation. She was very disrespectful and talked to me like I was a child. My daughter traveled very far to get there and had to go back home. I hope they will improve in the future. Very terrible experience.
My daughter (age 2) loves this place. With the new exhibits, she'll keep having more to do as she gets older.
Be sure to check out their website for discount days and/or free days. Plus, there are options on their web page to print out a coloring page for your child and if presented at counter you will get a discount on the day's visit. :)
Great place to take your kids for half a day. Parking is behind back with plenty of spaces available.
It's pretty cool but would be better with a little maintenance. The water table only 1/2 works and is falling apart. The model trains don't work well either. On the positive side; very inexpensive. Only $18 for 2 adults and 2 kids with a coupon.
It's okay. Small compared to what I'm use to coming from the Baltimore area. Went with my grandson on his Field trip. It was good for a half day but I couldn't see spending an entire day there, at least not while responsible for a group of kids. Would be better to enjoy as a family and when it is warmer out to enjoy the outdoor area. The kids enjoyed it, tho.
