For a store that calls itself Pay Less, their prices really aren't that much better than the Marsh it replaced. And to get the better prices you have to use their store card. They advertise a low price nice and big on a yellow tag, but if you squint just right, you'll see "WITH CARD" on the bottom of the tag. I tried to pay with my Mastercard debit card, and I was required to use my PIN. Huh? Cashier told me that if you use Mastercard, you have to use your PIN. I used my VISA instead so I wouldn't get stuck with a ATM fee as well. This may be a store I go to just to get a couple things if I'm in the area, otherwise I'll keep using
I haven't been yet but the fact that its not Aldi's or Walmart is literally doing it for me. That's not a knock on either store, it just speaks to the power that is actually having a choice between the type of service and crowd you feel like dealing with
Wal-Mart or Meijer for my larger grocery runs.
